Yes, I know it’s 5/8” and it’s not your standard wallboard. But I watched this stuff get run over by an 18-wheeler, and aside from being broken in half, it held up incredibly well.
Stopped by to get some picture of this beauty on the way home the other day. This was done in collaboration with @flemingtongranite The specific material used was Precious white marble. Funny story about this kitchen… we actually did it twice.
Unfortunately, this home flooded, which meant we had to come back and tile the entire kitchen floor all over again.
As unfortunate as that was, this has to be one of my favorite kitchen floor layouts/designs we’ve worked with. It’s not overly technical or complicated, but it’s different, works really well with the cabinet colors, and gives the space something that makes it stand out.
Sometimes, the simplest layouts are the ones that make the biggest impact.
This shower is exactly how I believe a true curbless shower should be done. We used roughly 4’ x 10’ large-format slabs to create a clean, seamless look with as few interruptions as possible.
A minimalist 4” shelf runs continuously along the entire back wall, keeping the design functional without taking away from the slabs. The bathroom layout was designed to let everything flow together, right down to the wall-to-wall linear drain with a tiled cover.
No bulky curbs. No unnecessary cuts. Just clean lines, thoughtful details, and a seamless transition throughout.

Atlantic tile loves working with slabs. Although, our amazing guys make this look easy. It takes ton of repetition, training, teamwork and communication to complete a job like this. It also makes it a lot easier using @raimondi_spa setup. #tiledesign #largeformat #slabtiles #porcelain #fireplace
We had to make right on this floor. After pouring the first batch of self leveler, it didn’t have the integrity that we anticipated so we made the right decision to redo it. Floor came out rock solid the second time around and now ready to finish up this bathroom!
